How Will I Ever Know?

Love. To like. Crush. Do they mean or relate to the same thing because I clearly don't know. When will I ever know the difference between those words. I've been told that I'm confused between liking someone and just noticing their looks. I've been asked so many questions relating to love and now I can only answer "I don't know". What is love anyway? I've finally reached the point where I can honestly say "I don't know". It hurts watching those who actually know and understand what love is when I question it everyday. When will it be my time to fully understand love? How will I know when I "feel" love? Why am I so confused now? Why? My friend gave me an answer to at least head me in the direction with one of her original quotes: "We have to experience to fully know life's situations".

  2. You will never know what romantic love is until you've experienced it. Even then...if you ask yourself "could this....be love?" perhaps it is perhaps it isn't. You will find it one day as do all. As my dear friend, White Rabbit, says, love cannot be explained through words. However, once you've experienced it for long enough, you'll know. When that time comes....love with all your heart, Duckie.

  3. "Love doesn't make any sense.
It doesn't have rules and it doesn't have an instruction manual. When people ask "How do I know when I'm in love?", I always say "You aren't."
Because when you finally feel love, you just know. And you're more sure of it than anything."
If you doubt love, then it's just a simple crush that may be confusing and nothing more, unless you stop doubting it.
You'll feel it in every day and every moment when it comes.
But of course, there's also different types of love.
-There's the father tucking their son in at night.
-There's the best friend who teases you endlessly.
-There's the appreciation and passion you feel to certain things.
And then, there's that one significant other who will take you away from everything you're doing just so you can think about him/her. That person will never leave you mind and heart, eventually causing a scar instead of just leaving without a trace.
But you know, you're still young. I'm still young. Everyone at your school is still young. There's so much time until true love hits, where we'll be bound to that significant other and then eventually get married. For now, I'd suggest loving your friends, family, and passion, and nothing more.
